Charlotte La Mariposa

Charlotte La Mariposa is a dancer since a very young age and discovered tango when she was sixteen years old. Since then she has been travelling the world to stay inspired. When she moved to Brussels in 2012 she started her djing at Floreo with the very soul purpose of offering the dancers a joyful and intense experience.
She is appreciated in the local community as well as abroad, leaving her marks in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Köln and Antalya.

In her musical choice she likes to flutter between the Golden Age until the rare pearls of the of the 60’s, reading and inspiring the dance floor like a Butterfly.

Martin Lionti

Argentinian by origin, born in Quilmes, I was immersed in tango from a very young age. Passionate about this dance and its complex music, I have studied its history and subtleties in order to share them through my musical selections since 2017. This is why I love vinyl, which I collect and have been using for my sets since 2020—they envelop you in their rich and authentic sound. I adapt to the dancers and accompany their energy right to the end of each of my sets. I’m a lover of the Golden Age, which I mix with such passion that I sometimes set the dance floor on fire!…

I would like to mention that I travel with my own turntables and mixer, to make organization easier and ensure high sound quality.**

Sam Tchadash

Sam, of Belgian and Turkish descent, began his tango journey in 2009 in Brussels. Like
many, he quickly became captivated by the dance, immersing himself in daily milongas,
practicas, and both private and group classes. His curiosity about tango music led him to
start collecting songs from the very beginning, drawing inspiration from renowned DJs and
festivals worldwide, including Buenos Aires.
Now a DJ for 8 years, with 250 sets to his credit (figure from 2025), Sam has developed a
deep understanding of the connection between dancers and music. He strives to create
moments of joy and harmony on the dance floor, carefully curating his sets to reflect a
profound respect for the dancers. With smooth transitions between tandas and varying
energy levels, he keeps the milonga vibrant and engaging throughout the evening.
Known for his rich variety of selections, Sam aims to surprise and delight dancers while
honoring the essence of tango. Whether playing for intimate practicas or lively milongas with
live orchestras, he tailors his sets to suit the atmosphere and the dancers present, ensuring
a memorable experience for all.
A generous and experienced international DJ, Sam’s passion for tango and commitment to
delivering an enjoyable evening shine through in every event he plays.

Oliver Koch

Since 1991, Oliver Koch is passionate about tango dance and music. He has been studying orchestras and analysing musical interpretations ever since he discovered tango.

He started to play music in milongas as early as 1996.

Thanks to intensive research, he developed a series of musicality workshops about the main orchestras, their particularities, how to recognise them and suggesting which layers in the music the dancers could try to interpretate.

He has always been the house DJ of our Brussels milongas, from the first events organised in 1996 in La Roseraie, via the milongas we proposed over the years in CC Ons Huis, GC De Markten, CC Ilusión and since 2006 in La Tangueria and at our tango holidays at the Lago Maggiore.

He likes to play a variety of different styles and alternates fast and energetic tandas with elegant, smooth, slow and poetic passages. According to the trends he notices on the pista, he will propose more melodic tango de salón sets, or rather opt for rhytmical orchestras for the lovers of the milonguero style.

El Jaak

Jaak is known as a passionate tango lover and experienced DJ within the Argentine tango scene. His love for tango began in 2001 when he stumbled upon a local milonga. In 2005, he performed his first DJ set, driven by a deep interest in the music that brings tango to life. Since then, he has developed his own style that remains true to tango’s golden age. For many years, he was a co-organizer and DJ at the legendary Altena Kapel milonga in Belgium. His sets are characterized by musical refinement, a keen sense of atmosphere, and a flowing energy that keeps the energy flowing throughout the night. Jaak knows better than anyone how to feel and direct the energy on the dance floor. Dancers appreciate him for his dedication and respect for tradition.

El Huracán

Jo Switten, also known as deejay El Huracán, came in contact with the Tango Argentino end of the eighties. In 1990 he took his first classes and he immediately fell in love with the music, the dance and the social aspects of the milongas. Back then, there weren’t many possibilities to dance so he started to collect tango records and started as a deejay at national and international tango parties. On his various trips to Buenos Aires he completed his collection. Jo is passionate about tango but isn’t a librarian or a archiver of tango music. He strongly believes a good milonga is about fun, about the joy of dancing and being together, without losing the authentic character of a real Argentine salón de tango. Get ready for a night full of dancing and good ambiance. Los esperamos por una noche de garufa!
